If you're a visible minority, you've got it easiest of all to break in. That's not a complaint or a commentary on the system being fair / unfair. So yes, while there may be a lot of white males currently at the workplace, the flipside is that confers you with significant advantages in recruiting. And trust me - no one gives a crap what colour / gender you are at the actual workplace. If your work is good, you'll be liked and if your work isn't good, you won't be. Bankers are too myopic about generating revenue to care about trivial things like what a person on their team looks like.
