IB Equity Capital Markets Origination & Execution reputation

Hi WSO

I am currently in a situation where I have to make a decision on which Internship I will be doing next.

Today I got an offer for an ECM Origination role. Team seems to be a good fit, but I am not sure since I have worked on a smaller team before where origination and execution happened within one team.

If I decide to go for the Origination and the Name is a well-known one in the industry, how are my chances to lateral to the IB Financing department of a BB

If you could choose between a good brand name working on ECM Origination or something like Big 4 Valuation to gain experience, what would you go for? And are there any differences in the salary of Execution and Origination teams?

Sorry if those questions are kinda stupid, but I don't know many people in the industry, and I am trying to find out which way I should go. Goal would be BB ECM at some point.
