IB Fee Waterfall
Let’s say that you’re an MD leading a team as the sole advisor on a $5bn deal and charge a 1% advisory fee ($50mn). How does that fee get broken up between the MD, the bank and other parties. How much of that fee would you expect to earn as a bonus as an MD?
