IB Fringe Benefits?
Can anyone provide any insight into some of the fringe benefits that BB firms provide to their different levels of employees (Analyst, Associate, VP, MD, etc.). Thanks.

Varies but paid for meals after 6/7pm, Uber home after 9pm are standard.
BB's offer great health insurance, dental and vision. Only really the Big 4 firms offer better fringe benefits
MBB consulting has great fringe benefits as well

re: paid for meals- you can generally order food after 5:30pm, but the caveat is that you have to stay in the office until 8pm.
Do firms provide you with free laptop?
Nah you're expected to hold all the highly sensitive company data and models on your personal laptop. If you've got a desktop, I'm sorry to say you'll have to carry that to and from the office every day, so you'd best buy a nice big bag to carry it in.
and are phones still given out?
Ignore the sarcastic asshole. This is a fair question and NO not all BBs give you a company laptop. Might change now that remote work is more common...

No
Stress, depression, anxiety, weight gain, balding - different levels for different ranks. Oh - you get a nice duffel too. And a vest for some shops.
Do you think the nature of the job (work doesn’t feel meaningful to you?) is what affects mental health, or is it more so that the hours mean you’ll be sleep deprived and have limited outlets e.g. seeing friends, exercise?
