IB Grad Scheme/ Traineeship

Hi guys,

I am (m/27) with a corporate law background from Germany ( 5 years of study). After working and interning in M&A Big Law I discovered my passion for the financial/commercial side of deals.

I have been studying with Wallstreep Prep and co for a while and I got now a opportunity to start a Traineeship in Investment Banking of a small Infrastructure and Energy Boutique for 18 months. The Programm seems very interesting and it looks like I will learn a lot but I don’t know if it’s the right career step since I want to move to BB or PE later on.

What would you advice me ?? Should I take it or are there more and better steps I should take considering ( non-target school, age, background)

Thanks a lot and would appreciate your advice !
