IB Interview Question

How is Terminal Value Affected by Stubs and Mid-Year Convention? I know it's not "affected" but how do you alter it to properly represent the value at year 10 because BIWS is throwing me off. I know for the discount period AFTER you get the TV you use whatever stub period was +the rest of the forecast years but I'm confused with the actual TV calculation.
