IB MD Salaries?
This site and many others have conflicting information on how much MDs/Partners at investment banks make. How much do regular BB MDs make? How about heads of a verticals/sector (e.g. Global Head of TMT, Head of U.S. FIG, etc.)? What about people at top EBs like Q/PJT/CVP? I'm sure there is a large range and a lot of discrepancies depending on firms/industries, but I would just like to hear some numbers from people who actually are around these people and aren't just speculating.
I just know that the highest average MD salary is in London
Base salary is $350ish and $500ish at Partner / Senior MD level depending on bank
Can anyone give a rundown of what the actual day to day looks like for a D/MD (coverage vs product/ECM/ECM, etc)?
