Based on my experience and peers at different banks, most IBs seem to pay on a prorated salary basis

I know that Citi pays 40/hour for junior interns in NYC. I've heard anecdotally that as an intern, its not acceptable to record overtime. Give that 40x40x52 = 85k, the old salary standard, maybe this will have changed and some overtime will be allowed, but I highly doubt interns will be recording, for example, 60 hours a week total for 145k/year at 1.5x. Not really sure though - try asking an upperclassmen if you can or searching for old threads on here.
If they didn’t want you recording overtime they wouldn’t make it an option. Imagine thinking it’s “not okay” to record overtime when they r working you 90 hours a week.
