IB to Commercial Banking
Have been considering making a switch from IB to commercial banking. Can anyone give any insight into what titles (i.e. analyst, associate, AVP etc.) and salaries may be achievable for a second-year IB analyst looking to make this switch? It seems that most positions I've noticed (even at the analyst level) require completion of some sort of bank credit training program. Obviously I haven't completed one of these, but I definitely don't want to start over as an analyst and would like to target positions at the associate+ equivalent. Any insight into this topic would be appreciated.
