Really depends on the shop but Frankfurt is probably the best spot to start your career right now outside of NYC or SF (tech only).

The market there is going to boom with Brexit. The cost of living is very low comparatively. Job security in Germany is so strong that if you don’t show up for two weeks you still can’t be let go.

 

Most banks/boutiques (if not all) will require you to speak german because as of now Frankfurt is mostly limited to coverage of the D-A(-CH) (Deutschland/Germany, Austria, (Switzerland sometimes done from Zurich depending on the bank)) region. However post brexit this MIGHT change. I'd recommend learning german or Joining in the US/UK to later lateral to Frankfurt once you speak german.
