IBD vs S&T vs ECM/DCM vs Consultancy (All Aspects)

Hi, I am currently a first year student going into second year and would be looking to applying to the 2016 summer internships. I am considering the different areas of Investment banking as well as Strategy consultancy. I initially wanted to go into M&A but started to become more concerned after reading about the brutal work hours; 7 - 2 AM. The exit opps are great but I want to have a life as well. I would like to be able to spend time with friends and family as well as work in the frontline of the banking/consulting industry. I have read that the hours in S&T are much better and that has persuaded me to edge towards S&T because it would mean that I would actually get to have a life but the exit opps are not as good. ECM/DCM also seems to be alright. Consultancy seems to have a different aspect to it which is travel. I wouldn't mind travelling 3 times a week as long as I would get to come back and work normal hours in order to live my life. If anyone has been through this, please advise on what you think is the best to work in right now taking into consideration the life aspect.
