London starter here, following, heard nothing so far

Incoming FT in NY office for IB, honestly freaked out by merger speculation 

Incoming SA for 2023, deadly scared so following the thread too. Not even sure if they'll have FT offers next year, wondering if I need to start recruiting again...

Been re-recruiting since the end of internship, interviews coming up this week. Our group had a giant group chat with all the summers. A handful of summer analysts and associates in my group already landed FT offers elsewhere

I can't tell you which banks are hiring rn cuz I'm also trying to lateral, but there are groups at some banks that are hiring if you look/network hard enough. The group  I interned this summer gave everyone return offers, but 40-45% of my class already gone/went to other banks

Have you heard anything from your team about what's going on? Also, are people interviewing already? Really tough FT market rn and not sure if people are even hiring.

Incoming 2023 FT at one of top groups. When I reached out to some of the folks I worked with over this summer to get some color, some of them had already left the bank. Was a bit shocked but did not need to hear more
