Incoming junior transfer, cooked for IB?

I am an incoming junior transfer to Cornell. I have a really solid finance resume including 2 years at an activist hedge fund, an internship managing (with supervision obv) a 1 mil pod of a microcap hedge fund, and a wealth management intern at a small holistic wealth management office.

I am pretty set on a career in finance and believe that IB is probably the best start to a career. The only thing I am worried about is that I already missed 2027 internships and will not be eligible for 2028 internships. I spoke with an academic advisor and it is impossible to delay my graduation. I could technically switch to Claremont McKenna as a second sem sophomore but I am not really interested in doing that, it would be 80k extra and further delay my graduation (I would be almost 25 at the time of graduation).

Would I have any chance re-recuriting into IB with a Big 4 M&A advisory internship if I had solid technicals and networked really hard? What other paths would be available to me, or should I just attempt to find another finance career that is more suited to my situation.
