Industry Change

Hi y'all. I am in the real estate PE industry in Texas and am looking to potentially transition to IB. 29 with my current position being a director at a start up CRE PE firm. Did 50M in transactions over the last year and had the opportunity to work on all aspects of deal execution and investor relations. I genuinely love working on deals, but I would really like to move away from the real estate side of the industry, which is why I am looking to move towards IB. I understand that any transition into IB is difficult, but if anyone would be willing to network and provide some advice on moving forward with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
