Instantly rejected by UBS ... HELP!

Sup fellas, I need some advice.

UBS is a huge recruiter where I live (EU/DACH), and they have many opportunities I am interested by. Long story short, every time I apply to a role, I complete the numerical and cognitive assessments where I am always "Extremely accurate" and "Extremely fast" at completing them, it's what the report says.

However, I then just need to refresh the candidate page to see that I instantly get out of the candidate pipeline, no longer in consideration, and this has been the case for now 3 fucking months, for any job I apply to. This happens automatically as I once got this message on a Sunday... No one reviewed my shit. The funniest part? I made a second account with a different email, completed the same tests and... Same results!

I have 3 theories as to why I get dinged automatically, given that I pass the CV screening as I do everywhere else. - I failed the cultural appraiser on the two accounts I made, but that is only speculative as UBS does NOT give any results for this test. + I have a pretty good understanding of IB and what type of monkey UBS wants here (jokes aside, I passed their test many times in the past). The test is valid for 6 months so until February I'm fucked.

  • I got blacklisted (You can apply as many role as you wish here, and how would they blakclist a newly created account? Is it that advanced??

  • I work at a competitor, but then WTF?

I'm legit in a situation where if an MD tells me he is getting me in, as soon as I apply on the portal I am out, there is no fucking way I make it in. I do the test, the minute after I am out.

Could anyone share some views on this? I've been living fine with it for the past months but I am seeing opportunities fly by at an alarming rate and cannot tell why...

I am applying to both Internships and Graduate roles, and so have I in the past.

Since I am a year away from graduation and still enrolled at University but do not have anymore classes until then, I state that I am still a student. From what I've been told by many people from HR at UBS, the "GTP" as they call it but also internships are opened to both student and recent graduates.

Do you put your grad date on there? i.e. Dec 2023 or Spring 2024, whichever is applicable

Internships and graduate programs run on very specific, mutually exclusive timelines, so you will 100% be auto-dinged from any you're not eligible for based on grad dates. For example if you say you graduate in Dec 2023 and are applying for June 2023 graduate roles, that will ding you immediately

No it doesn't ask for a graduation date, just your current status at the start of the internship... But in this case, wouldn't I be rejected prior to receiving the online tests?

because UBS is a masochist, gives you false hope then yank it away
