Interest rate on debt

Hello,

Firstly, I apologise if this is in the wrong section. I'm not quite sure where else to post it.

I've just started university and begun teaching myself financial modelling. I've been doing well, however, I've had trouble figuring out the interest rate on debt for some companies. I can calculate the risk-free rate and equity risk premium fine, but most companies do not provide any mention of interest rates on their interest-bearing debts.

When valuing a company, how else can I calculate this rate in a manner as accurately as possible, without it being in the financial statements?

I know you guys have better things to do but I'd appreciate any assistance you could provide.

Thanks.

Check the notes to the financial statements. They will have a note about their debt and the interest rates.

I've found a section with variable and fixed rates. This must be it.

Thank you for your help mate. I really appreciate it.
