Interested in Boutique IB Recruiting - Need Advice
Rising junior at a non-target interested in a SA internship in NYC at a boutique for 2022. I am currently doing an internship at a search fund. - How does their recruiting timeline look like?- -When should I start networking with people from boutiques for a summer internship in NY? - Would it help if I do a winter internship at a PE firm or a boutique in NY as well?

Most of them recruit in the fall, so I'd say reach out now and build a rapport. Most of them don't have actual intern programs so you'll have to network your way in. Some of them do and they will tell you. Obviously an internship in PE or a boutique in the winter would help since you would have prior experience. Which firms are you looking at?
