Intern Hazing At Middle Market Bank
A friend of mine worked last summer at a middle-market investment bank (think BMO, Centerview, GS) and got bullied by his associates. He once had a banana peel waved in his face and was told "what are you gonna do about it little intern?", and also had an office basketball chucked at the back of his head while slaving away at his desk. Anyone have any similar stories?
Surprised stuff like this happens.
My group is super gay and feminized, and if this ever happened, those involved would be fired.

A buddy of mine was at a top EB (CVP, BMO, EVR) and got pretty messed up from the hazing there. Both a mix of mental and physical hazing to the point of him having to go to a shrink. Alledgedly his MD would spank him for every typo / formatting error he found on the deck, until his ass was bright red. The worst part is this would happen infront of everyone and for each spank he would say the error it was for.
No chance that ever happened. Especially not in this hyper PC era. Maybe in the 80’s. Not in the 2010s or 2020s.
