haha im receiving more and more meaningful work, luckily. there is some downtime usually in the mornings though, and was wondering how I can best make of NYC as an intern in the summer

 

Good. That means you're doing good work with what they have given you. Keep up the good work.

And yeah mornings are usually slow(ER). Good time to catch up on the journal, sports, etc. (WSO). And definitely make sure to enjoy the city, and make sure to go out with other interns. They will be great contacts as you progress through your career.

 

Check out Turtle Bay on Wednesday nights. A lot of finance interns end up over there and its an overall solid happy hour spot ($1 beers).
