Currently an F-1 Visa student and recently accepted an offer to join a MM bank. Am I legally allowed to accept the signing bonus even though my OPT will not start until next June? Can anyone provide insight into when I can accept it?

Yes you are allowed to accept it.
Your taxes will be done under your F1 status. You are not allowed to work before your OPT. You are getting this bonus as a sign-on and not as a reward for work quality or performance.
