Interns Ruining Your Sunday

Before I begin, I want to make it clear that I respect all interns and try my best to be understanding of their schedules and personal lives. It wasn't too long ago that i was an intern pulling about 30 hours a week while taking on a full class load at the bank I am at now (for some background, I'm at a boutique in a big city that takes on interns throughout the school year 'offcycle'). I also understand that it takes time to adapt to a life of constantly checking your emails, being prepared for fire drills and essentially being ready 24/7, we've all done it. But on this beautiful Sunday evening I will be spending the next couple of hours doing a task that an intern told me he would do over the weekend, but didn't do. With that being said, I'd love to hear some horror stories on interns ruining your weekend, either due to a mistake, lack of communication, etc. Cheers!

When I was an intern (2 years ago) my analyst asked me to do something and I finished it (back pages of a credit memo ~20 pages). Told him and asked if he had any feedback and he kept pushing it off until the last day of my internship (maybe 2 weeks). By that time someone else went in and started adding comments and edits. Then my analyst came to me and said I shouldn’t have sent him unfinished work and basically said I had a shitty work product (due to the space that someone else left him but tbh he was really stressed so he was probably taking it out on me). Tried to explain that it wasn’t me but he wasn’t having it and I didn’t get the return.
