Internship as freshman... skill issue?

Got an internship at a MM boutique as a 1st year student at the top 1 Latam university. There are other 2 interns that are from the same uni, but theyre in their last year, and one of them started a week before me, and the other had been there for 2 months.
They have already done modelling, valuations, while im given tasks like filling "potential buyers" lists and making ppt presentations...

of course im not complaining, im a freshman at the end of the day and already at a IB intership, i just wanted to know if that disparity was normal and how should i feel about it

thx

right when class started in February i was already looking for some finance extensions (think like “clubs”, here in brazil we call them entities)

so in march i was already in an asset management entity, and that plays a big part in this puzzle, because this asset is known in the uni and in the market as one of the best/hardest to get into

when i got in, i grinded my ass off to learn everything that i could (read books, did modeling courses, talked to some old members that were already working, etc)

then by the end of july, this boutique had opened their internship program (which was composed of an accounting and logics test, and 3 interviews)

luckily by Gods grace I was able to land that role, and here i am at my second semester in uni already working in ib!

lmk if u have any questions, my english sucks
