Internship started but haven’t been background checked
I started my internship at a pretty well respected shop this week. But I have yet to be background checked. Is it normal for boutiques to not background check interns?

how do you know you haven’t? maybe they conducted it without you knowing
I haven’t provided info that is typically asked. I believe I also have to give permission before they can background check me. At least in the past, I’ve had to sign some forms.
You 100% would of had to give consent. I’m starting FT in a few weeks and in the same boat. I heard a lot of background checks are being delayed because courts are closed so it’s hard to check any kind of criminal record. Not sure this is completely accurate though.
