Internship Timeline
Hello,
I received an offer for an unpaid internship for a small investment bank for this coming fall. Unfortunately, I might not be able to work past October 20th, and its program dates might extend past that point. Would it be bad for me to accept, try to see how I can handle everything, and then later quit in the middle of the program? In such an event, would I even be able to put my internship experience on my resume given that potential employers might call and ask the firm about me only to receive the negative news that I left early?
Would it be best for me to ask the analyst if doing 6 weeks of the internship might be possible? Or could I ask the firm about summer availability? What would my response likely be?
