I recently met someone from Deloitte CF who made it to the PE arm of a regional Asian bank. Deloitte CF focuses on the middle market, but compared to specialist MM firms, they bring a global network to the table. That's the pitch anyway.

Yeah the guy I met was with D in Europe.
I interviewed with their LA office about a year ago on campus. They were very much fit, but they're not afraid to be tough on you if you have holes in your resume. My gpa wasn't great (3.3) and they targeted it right away with a "You were on scholarship, so what the hell happened to your gpa?" Some technicals but I don't think it was too bad.
