Interview: Not the Usual Question

I am starting a long-term internship at a Middle-Market bank next Monday.

I also happened to have a final round at a top BB this week, but the MD who is responsible for hiring decided to spend an additional week snorkeling in the Bahamas.

The final round at BB therefore got postponed to Wednesday next week, i.e. the third day of my MM internship. Ouch, this looks like a problem.

Can I ask to reschedule my final round (and how do I go about telling them)? Should I ask them to interview me on Saturday or Sunday? Should I ask them to do all 3 final round interviews in the evening (I know that I will be finishing work at 4-5PM during the first week). Can I just miss my third day at work (hmm, probably not)?

I really appreciate your help (and will give out all the SB).

To be honest, I would just try and work it out at your MM. Don't put it on the BB to reschedule as it can act as a risk or inconvenience. I'd just go with important Doc appointment or meeting with Professor or something.

Haha no way an MD is going to interview you on the weekend. I think the right move would have been to tell the BB that wednesday doesn't work in the first place. If you have agreed it will look bad to try to reschedule. Gotta find an excuse for why you need to leave MM for a couple of hours
