Interviewer added me on LinkedIn a few days before interview
I had an interview a few days ago and one of the members of the company added me on linkdn a few days before. Was he trying to contact references he knew in my network if needed? It’s a firm with a lot of mutual connections to the past company I interned at so I’m confused on why he added me unless they are trying to do due diligence.
i did really bad in the interview (they kind of hated me from the start and it lasted like 10 minutes) and the industry is small so wanted to know if maybe he contacted a prior boss and had a negative review.
