Investment banking dead?
I'm a foreigner student in singapore, Its TOTALY a banking industry, in the past few years, their GDP dropped to almost half and all the top investment banker friends i/my father have only suggest that for someone to come here (or in this shrinking industry) doesnt make sense anymore and that sg is at its saturation point.
As an IB aspirant I would really like to know what others think about the future of IB all over the world.
Also, I wanna go to london (LSE) for graduate studies, but it practically has no jobs. Considering changing my focus to other industry like corporate finance.
Any thoughts?
