Investment Banking graduate recruiters in London
I'm having a panic moment. My employer decided to cut down on internal teams and mine got smashed. I work at a Development Financial Institution. We do valuation for the bank's client companies and modelling for infra/energy projects. The portfolio is quite huge but mostly focused on emerging markets. I'm not involved in transactions or origination however. They will now start to outsource valuation of assets and company clients to other firms (one of the big 4s I think). I have good skill in modelling and valuation, mostly in private equity and infra assets. I've only been here for 8 months. The team is about to die fully, from the director down to the interns. There are talks about moving us internally but there are just not enough spots for everyone.
I'm searching for an IB role and I'm not sure where to begin. Does anyone know any good recruiters in London I can reach out to?

Sad to hear that - work on your story why it had happened? - I have met people who joined as a graduate got laid off after a month. From my understanding, they are building an AI unit that's going to cost serious money to build and they're prioritising it above all else. The convenience of having modelling guys desperate for any business after the past couple of years will make this function extremely cheap to outsource.
Nothing is permit in the job world / real world - so just take it as a learning experience - each interview / discussion will lead you learn more and more.
