Investment banking in a developing country

Career Resources
I would see it as more of a life - fulfillment move vs a career move. No question that you'll probably be better off by starting in major financial hub. You could always move there later on after beginning a career in NY, Chicago, London etc.
Thanks for the thought. :)
IB Internship in an emerging market (Originally Posted: 05/16/2011)
Hello everyone,
I am posting this to request your inputs.
I am a junior at a non-target, liberal arts school. I have two internship experiences in PE and VC in an emerging market (Vietnam) This summer, I am still looking for internship opportunities in IB in the U.S. but if nothing works out, I can go home to work for an IB firm at home.
What do you think of my chances of getting an IB full-time offer in the fall? Will the fact that I have 3 internships in a same place and no experiences in the U.S. hurt my chance for full-time? Would you recommend me to go home and take this rather than camping in NYC and keep calling firms?
Thanks guys. Anything inputs are greatly appreciated.
