Investment Banking in Singapore (SEA) and HK(ex Mainland China)

Hi fellow monkeys! Have been a lurker on this site for a couple of months now and I must say it's been a blessing! The site has helped me a lot with interviews and my knowledge more than the school courses have. I am going to be starting my investment banking summer internship at a BB this year, and wanted to have a better idea of the industry, particularly in SG and HK.

Since most of the information is more USA (and somewhat Europe) oriented, I wanted to get the floor rolling for us in Asia (primarily Singapore and Hong Kong). How would you rate the BBs, EBs and MMs in SG and HK based on their deal flow, coverage, team size and prestige? I am more interested in M&A and coverage than ECM/DCM.

For those based in the States/Europe, how would you say your counterparts in Asia differ (culture, team composition, work ethic etc)?

Hope to have a fruitful discussion!
