Investment banking question

I am currently a rising senior in high school, with plans to apply to a school near to UPenn. I do not believe I will successfully make it into UPenn, and therefore will possibly attend Haverford so that I may take courses at UPenn(UPenn and Haverford have a system that allows this). My question is, when employers review your transcript/where you graduated from, do they only take note of the university of graduation, or do they also consider classes taken at more prestegious universities?

Alongside this, is it possible to join clubs in and network well at UPenn if I am enrolled not in UPenn but in a neighboring University?
