Investment Sales to Debt Underwriting (Advice Needed)

I work as an analyst on a pretty successful investment sales team. I see a lot of volume and have learned a lot. However, as any broker will tell you, our analysis isn't the most thorough. I'd like to transition into a role in which 1) I'd still see a ton of deal volume, 2) wear many hats, and 3) do more thorough underwriting

Would debt underwriting fill this criteria? (Maybe not in today's lending environment but long-term)

Feel free to recommend any other roles that fit the above criteria
