Investor Relations at Megafund
Hi All,
I'm currently an analyst at a major BB and have an upcoming interview for an IR role at a megafund. I'm primarily looking for an exit that will provide a better work-life balance while also having reasonable upside. Anyone with familiar with typical working hours and comp ranges for these types of roles?
Thank you in advance for any help!

I work at a mid-market PE firm and not a megafund with a team of 4. Our hours are long, like plus 60-70 each week and a lot more during investor meeting season. However, investor relations processes are very specific to the firm and I have friends who are also in PE IR that do only 40-50 hours a week. It is super important to do your due diligence on the firm and the specific team you are joining to avoid any surprises.
