Is a 3.87 enough for EBs and BBs
Imagine top tier resume and networking….. just wondering because I have been overthinking a lot and some people keep saying that the cutoff is 3.9

Ty!
Must be some non target. Congrats on IU Kelley
Lead recruiting for my target school at a BB: 3.5 is the cutoff for HR reasons, anything above 3.7 is considered great. After that you are solely evaluated on rest of resume + networking. 3.5 is fine as well if you are good otherwise.
The average IB analyst prob has a GPA between 3.5 - 4.0 from most target schools (prob something in the range of ~3.7 given people slack of senior year) with the caveat being business majors are probably expected to have highest GPA (i.e. below 3.7 is not really acceptable). For example, I'd think a 3.5 or 3.6 STEM or SEAS GPA is better than a Wharton student with a 3.7 or 3.8.
Ty!
No you need >4.0
Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but why wouldn't you just round it to 3.9 / 4.0 on your resume. Can't think of a single kid I know who hasn't/wouldn't do that.
Agree. I don't blink if I see a resume with one decimal. If anything I think it looks cleaner that way
