Is Houston IB mainly limited to energy?

Still a student so not too sure of the ins and outs of it all but all I’ve seen mentioned is energy/O&G for Houston banking and was wondering if that’s all there is there or if they have other groups there as well? Attracted to wanting to recruit for Houston due to tax advantages of living in Texas, but wasn’t sure if I’d be pigeonholing myself. Was also planning on transferring to target and was wondering if those of you working in Houston would recommend transferring to SMU for their Spindletop program?

If you're looking to stay in Texas but outside of energy, HL in Dallas is probably the only option. They have Healthcare, Consumer & Business Services, RX, and maybe P&U.
