Is it beneficial to double major?

Hey, I'm a rising sophomore at a target business undergrad. I have to declare my major soon. I'm interested in banking and PE, but I also find consulting to be interesting. Overall, I find all aspects of business interesting, but I still want to choose my major based on career outcomes. My dream would be to obtain the skill set from banking and pivot into a start-up type role in an executive C-Suite position.

I'm definitely going to major in finance but is it worth it to double major in something else business related? Like accounting, marketing, or something of that nature to broaden my horizons? Or is it generally a waste of time that could be focused on learning career-based things in the real world. I'm asking for career prospects but also to give myself the biggest opportunity of something amazing the future like a CEO positon.

Not that it's a waste of energy but you have to tread cautiously. I learned the hard way that overdoing it with majors and lowering the GPA is far inferior to having a great gpa in one major.

To be honest that's out of my pay grade, I was chasing prop shops so I went CS & Applied Math -> Stat & Mathematical Finance, and to be honest if I could go back I would just major in finance with a minor in applied stat and tried to go the banking route. My gpa has definitely suffered so just ride out finance for now and maybe add a minor initially then up it to a second major if you have a 3.85+ through a few semesters.
