Very, very true. Kids at my school are flipping out. You cannot find a seat in the library and everyone looks like they're about to crack. YTF do they always put off big papers till the last week?

Compared to the workload a lot of us in finance expect after graduation, school really isn't that bad. I mean right now it kind of sucks but it's only for a week or so. Two exams yesterday and have to write a 15+ page paper on the sub prime mortgage crisis in the US and it's global economic impact... should be a solid 48 hour stint when I'm done. This is all almost a relief from my CFA studying in the last few weeks though.
Still... not that bad. I can't help but laugh at the kids freaking out because they have two history finals in one day and have to read a whole 50 pages before the test.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Uncanny.

ya...absolutely no seats in the libraries...add that on top of the stress of finding a job in this market...i would say it's somber!
My friends and I are doing barely enough to get a diploma and having un-somber fun. But at least most of us got jobs.
Some of us might be homeless next month, I think finals pale in comparison.
homeless? surely banking isn't the only thing you can do with your life

50 pages is all one needs for two history finals? What sort of class/school is that?
