Is Jefferies SF Tech one of the best groups at Jefferies if not best?

Recently found out they are the fastest-growing group at Jefferies. They're placing at top UMM PE firms with an extremely tiny SA / analyst class. Considering that Jefferies' head of tech Brady (worked with Quattrone and Boutros at MS and DB) and his mentees (the 5 ex-CS MDs who worked under the above 3 for decades) all sit in SF, why is this group slept on by a lot of people when looking at Jefferies? Seems like the group has expanded tremendously under the leadership of Brady. Appears to be 70-80% increases in revenue since he left CS within the tech banking practice according to annual reports filed by Jefferies / Leucadia.
