Is Rosenbaum and Pearl in-depth enough for EB IB interviews?
Claude is recommending that i use R&P but I'm wondering if that will cover the depth needed for EBs

A senior banker on a networking call recommended I read that book to learn more and prep for interviews. If I remember correctly, it was far too in the weeds with deal processes and valuation with no benefit for technicals or interviews more broadly (not to mention that it was incredibly boring). In short, a very low ROI play; I'd recommend you stay away
It’s more of a textbook, very granular on the concepts for IB recruiting but will likely require multiple read-throughs to apply it to EB techs. Best bet for EB techs is to watch videos that cover main concepts at a higher level than R&P and get access to as many technical guides as you can.
I highly recommend it. I read it cover to cover a week or so before I did my summer internship interviews and would say that was the key for me in terms of technicals. I also did a bunch of other things though.
If I needed to get someone up to speed I think this is a good textbook. Alternatively, anyone can memorize an interview guide, they are supposed to be complimentary not a substitute.

Echoing the comments, the book is a lot of content for very minimal help, read and understand the individual BIWS guides and you will be fine
