Is there any hope????
Hello Monkeys,
I’m starting to feel hopeless and thought it would be best to turn to WSO for validation or advice. Ever since the Fall I’ve known I wanted to be an Investment Banker because I’m great at picking stocks and gauging market patterns. Here’s the problem though— I am an incoming senior at a non-Target with a 2.87 GPA and no relevant work experience other than lifeguarding. I don’t necessarily enjoy networking because I feel most of the conversations are awkward and when I try to end the conversations by nicely asking to be put through for a superday, the request never seems to be fulfilled. I’m starting to lose hope and don’t know what to do.
I prefer to work at Goldman Sachs. If anyone is able to help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.
