Is this Legit??

Hey guys,

I recently just got an email (probably automated) from ModernGuild inviting me to submit an application/sign up for an account. The program boasts partnerships with the likes of JPM, Citi, Barclays, etc., with an opportunity to learn more about finance and/or consulting. To be honest it seems a bit too good to be ture - does anyone have any insight into this program or have any idea if this is legit or not? Thanks in advance guys!

They're legit - connect students to professionals through an application process. Not sure how they would've gotten your email without you signing up, but they're definitely real.

Thanks for the insight. Do you know of any success/horror stories about people who've gone through the process by any chance? I can't imagine signing up for a program where companies voluntarily partner would reflect poorly on an app, but I just want to make sure that maybe this program doesn't "flag" an applicant as desperate or perhaps incapable of standing out during the normal recruitment process

Oh yeah, no problems with flagging applicants lol. From what I've heard, there's an application process each season and they match you with someone in the industry you want to help with applications and possibly give you a step up in recruiting. Have only heard good things, but know its geared more towards those coming from non-traditional backgrounds who need a leg up (diversity, first-gen, etc.). Don't really think its that helpful if you're coming from a target/semi-target and are capable of networking.
