Is this M&A position relevant enough to get into an IB?
I was just wondering what anyones thoughts are on this type of job description for someone who wants to get into investment banking as an analyst or associate. I already have an a MBA. Just wanted to know if this would be relevant experience or does it just sound like a sales job. It doesn't sound like there is any finance going on in this role but I have an opportunity to speak with the recruiter and hear more about the position. This isnt a role in a bank. Its a computer software company.
