Time to start looking for new jobs. This is super sketch. Do you have some sort of documentation saying it is a FT offer? For your backpocket. The only concern I would have is if the new job reference checks and they try to lie and dick you over, so that's why I'd want to have documentation backup. 

There is absolutely no reason to change it on your resume. Or LinkedIn for that matter, but they obviously can see your LI so maybe make it private to save yourself some headache while you job search. Probably plenty of opps opening up soon.

 

do not change your resume title. You were hired full time. Simple as that.  Disregard your shitty firms guidance.

Start recruiting now with your FT analyst position in your resume.

If it comes up in a background check (likely will not), say your firm arbitrarily changed title due to shady tax reasons.  Provide your offer letter as proof that hired you full time initially.

Also, if you worked full time hours with benefits...you are not an intern. No matter what they say.
