Funniest

Worked there during my analyst years doing a combination of fuck all and jack shit. God I miss my days in the pen. Absolute clown show though. My MD at the time had severe marital problems and took it out on the boys in the bullpen. Strong exits though, working at a LMM fund getting some solid carry. #smurf #buysidebandit #lickthatboot

I have friends who have worked/interned there. Rough culture and lack of deal flow are both accurate statements. I’ve heard +/-80 hours a week without closing a deal for a year. I love Dallas, but if you want solid exits in Texas, do yourself a solid and go to Houston.

They are treated like little smurfs. My roomate is over there and it truly is prison. He comes back looking disheveled and defeated each and every day, and for what? Brutal deal flow and cheeks comp...

Bump, absolute clown show over there. MDs don't know their left from their right. Heard they haven't seen any deal flow since Rich Handler married his beautiful wife Martha in '21. Also heard they have some pretty rough hazing as well. Last I heard, summer analysts have to munch down wet dog food before being initiated as analysts. Reminds me of my time in the Sigma Chi basement back in the day. Absolutely tragic that those smurfs go through that just to have a very bleak opportunity of exiting to the darkest depths of the middle market.
