Jeff Industrials

After spending some time on the forum (and finally making an account), I have heard some not so great things about Jeff in general. I know their healthcare is a total sweat, and wanted to hear people's opinions on their Industrial group as I find that interesting and a potential match due to networking available at my school. What are people's thoughts both for NYC, Boston, and Charlotte? I've also heard that you can go into niches for certain cities.

NYC is chill given its easy to hide. The niches get wrecked given lean teams and some of the niches having good deal flow. Would low key reccomend a niche for the experience. I’m in M&A not industrials but that’s the vibe I get.

How would you compare industrials and m&a? i just signed for 2027 and they are the two groups I had the best interactions with + I'm the most interested in generally

Very different. Depends if you want to make CIMs and pitches all day or send NDAs and diligence requests all day. Both are equal exit ops IMO. M&A might crank you more unless you go to an industrials niche like building products
