Jefferies Investment Banking - Private Capital Group

Below are a few questions that I have in mind:

1) What PE funds do they usually deal with? 2) How's the transaction flow? I feel like it's definitely less than other product & industry groups based on the nature of the work. 3) Would COVID-19 be a catalyst for a ramp up of transactions? I'm thinking maybe some PE funds would like to sell off their investment in a fund that may not be as promising as it was pre-covid (correct me if i'm wrong) 4) Why exactly would a PE fund want to sell their investment in another fund? Would they use the cash to investment in another fund? What are other capital deployment alternatives? 5) Do most analysts end up leaving the Private Capital Group to recruit for the buy-side? 6) Can someone share some insights on Jefferies Private Capital Group or even just a Private Capital Group at other banks? 7) I've completed an internship at a PE fund that works closely with Jefferies and I personally enjoyed PE; however, I know for a fact that the nature of investment banking is much more exciting for my type of personality. Could working at a Private Capital Group be an interesting twist? I'm thinking of networking with a few analysts/associates in this group but I would love to have a better idea if the type of questions I am asking on WSO are genuinely good questions to ask.
