I heard from a buddy that two MD's at Jefferies Houston office got poached by Evercore. Anyone know more about this?

Isn't that the new prestigious EB that starts lowly analysts at $140k/yr salary? I can only imagine what the poached MDs will be making.

Can confirm this is false. Jefferies Houston is having a record year and no MD is going to jump from such a group to one that’s performing poorly in such an environment.
