Jimmy Carter, Markets Closed Tomorrow??
Would anyone know if we have off tomorrow for a day of mourning?
I checked online there does not seem an official answer.

The current sitting president is less sentient than Jimmy Carter at this very moment. The only thing he’ll be declaring is that Hunter brings him his vanilla pudding right at 3pm before his bedtime.
These other comments are off. It's very likely that the markets will be closed for one day for Jimmy Carter's funeral. Funeral plans are not set yet, but if it follows a similar timetable to HW Bush, we could see the markets close this upcoming Friday or something. We shall see.

Let me be very clear. 0DTE holders are gambling degenerates with no sound grounding in financial prudence or principle. Markets in the short-term are a beauty contest and in the long-term are a weighing machine. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and one cannot soundly say what the markets will say on a particular day.
In 1914, the American markets were shut down for 4.5 months, and there have been other disturbances throughout history as well. If national security dictates it, markets can and WILL be closed regardless of what puny horse wager options bets have been placed on the table to the contrary. Act accordingly.
