No, they haven't been on a deal in years. Sad, really. If you're asking because you have an interview, make sure you say something like, "Now I know J.P. Morgan hasn't been on a deal in the last couple of years, but I truly believe in this bank and it's ability to win going forward."

Unfortunately, Morgan Stanley is facing the same predicament. It is truly a sad era for the House of Morgan.

Best thing is if you know someone who works there who can send you their franchise newsletter (I think they still have this). It's not private info, all announced deals so it should be fine. If not go to Yahoo finance and look up JPM, and scroll to headlines.

 

SAP's acquisition of SFSF is a very impressive JPM deal.
